Jasper Davis

Coach Jasper is a recent graduate of Indiana University and a former collegiate and RUSH swimmer. Originally from Austin, Texas, where he began his aquatics journey and competitive swimming career. In 2021, Jasper was recruited to join the Indiana University Swim Team, where he contributed to three B1G Championship titles during his time there. He promotes physical wellness and enjoys working with swimmers of all ages/ skill levels, helping them develop their swimming technique and endurance.

Leah Boissevain

Drawing on her competitive background, military service, and educational foundation in Houston, Coach Leah will provide versatile swim instruction for athletes of all ages, from infancy through adulthood. While she is originally from the Hill Country, she moved to Houston for college, fell in love with coaching, and earned my Master of Education at the University of Houston. Her swim instructing experience ranges from guiding toddlers through their first water safety milestones to being certified to lead rigorous Army combat water training for soldiers. Leah is ready to make a splash by focusing on the technical mechanics and resilient mindset that lead to true mastery. She is excited to be a part of the Rush team as an Assistant Coach!

Samantha Kempers

Samantha has been coaching competitive swimming since 2006. A San Antonio native, she began her coaching career at Alamo Area Aquatics immediately after graduating high school, continuing in that role throughout her college years.
In 2011, Samantha relocated to Austin and joined Great Hills Country Club, where she was instrumental in founding and launching the Great Hills Aquatic Rush (RUSH) swim team. As the creator and driving force behind RUSH, Samantha has played a pivotal role in shaping the program’s philosophy, structure, and success—both on deck and behind the scenes.
Her coaching experience spans all ages and skill levels, from teaching swim lessons to 3-year-olds, to training high school competitors and adult athletes. She is also passionate about athlete development beyond the pool, frequently integrating CrossFit methodology into the team’s dryland training to enhance overall strength, mobility, and performance.
Samantha’s leadership, vision, and dedication continue to be the foundation of RUSH’s growth and community impact.

Logan Livingston
Junior Coach

Logan Livingston is a new coach here at RUSH, he has been swimming competitively since the age of 6, and will have gone to state competition two times following his senior year for his high school swim team. He has aspirations to join the United States Navy after college to pursue aviation. He has a passion for coaching and helping people to improve with regards to swimming and athletics.
